The Bleyer Hepcat is styled on a design that was hugely popular during the hey-days of the rock 'n' roll era. It's a black and white lace-up shoe that is characterised by clean lines and minimalistic detailing. The soles offer excellent sure-footedness for dancers.

The Bleyer Hepcat is only available in black and white as standard. Bleyer Hepcat are available as standard in Bleyer size 39 to 46 (covering UK 5 to 10).

If you're looking for a unique colour combination, we can help. You can make a special order with ANY colour combinations on the Bleyer Rock'n'Roll, special orders are one-off productions so they take a little longer and there is a surcharge, get in touch to find out more!

The Bleyer Hepcat is a high quality, lace-up shoe. On the standard production shoe, the black material is soft matt leather, whilst the white section is made from a soft and durable matt leather alternative called Durasoft.

The Bleyer Hepcat is produced with the Classic Moulded Arch Sole as standard, although this sole type has limited availability and will become unavailable soon. The White EVA Sole with a heel will be used as standard whenever the Classic Mouded Arch Sole is not available. If you prefer a different sole including suede, flat EVA and the Spin Spot sole, then consider making a custom order.

    The Classic Moulded Arch Sole

The Classic soles are made from cell rubber with a molded heel for great arch support. The material used is a high-tech innovation that gives you the ideal combination of light yet hardwearing soles for dancing. The look and feel of this sole type is at odds with most people’s idea of a rubber sole, it seems like hard plastic. Dancing on this sole offers slightly more grip and a more sure-footed feel than the other Bleyer composite soles (except the non-slip sole) or leather soles. This sole will tolerate being worn outdoors, and can be wiped down ready for dancing. These soles are Vegan friendly.

Bleyer Hepcats tend to fit even smaller than other Bleyer styles. Bleyer shoes are marked with European sizes and they tend to fit approximately one size small compared to typical European sizes, but for the Hepcat you are more likely to need to adjust by 2 sizes. So, for example if you normally wear a European 42 you would probably want a Bleyer Hepcat 44.

Bleyer sizes are listed first in our drop-down options. Bleyer sizes tend to be consistent across the full product range with the exception of this style. If you know your normal "Bleyer size", most people need one size larger. We have used our experience to translate the Bleyer sizes to other commonly used sizing systems. These translations are for guidance and cannot be treated as a guarantee of good fit. A returns policy is in place should replacements be required.

Due to the different sizing systems there are some, but not many, UK and US half sizes available. This is simply as a result of the translations, so if your UK/US foot size is a half size that is not listed we would normally suggest that you select the next half size larger. Although we are confident that these translations work for most people, this information is not a guarantee and should be used as a guide only.
